Page Width?

I just wanted to ask if there is a way to set the width of the page to a certain number of pixels, as depending on which computer I use, it sometimes doesn't all fit on the one page.. and you have to scroll accross to see the far right. Also some member's signature cover their avatars.

I know member's are having the same problem so I want to put it right?

Also, how do I find out the width of the page in pixels as I want to make a banner that is full width of the page (presumably I will find this out when I have done the above?)

I can change the percentages but it still wont fit...

you banner is tooo big and its adding the bottom scroll bar

Not on all screens, the banner is a 3rd of the page.

Is there no way to set the forum at a certain pixel width so it appears the same no matter who logs in and no matter what computer / screen?
