Well, everything has been going along great and all of a sudden, ads have showed up on the top of the forum. I have no idea why they have shown up suddenly or how to get rid of them.

has anyone else had this problem? If so, is there a way to remove the ads at the top of the screen?

Hi Stormlord,

GO to ACP (Administrator control panel) -> General -> Forum-> configuration

Once your there scroll down (some where in the middle ) you will find an option "Activate ads" select no there, that's it you have deactivated the ads....

you get 1 month free of ADs after that they appear and you will have to buy credits to remove the ADs thereafter

well thats...weird.
my forums have been opened just over a month now when they appeared suddenly.
and the previous posters advice seems to have worked.

so i guess i'll just keep an eye out then...

mmm... mine apeared after APPROX. 1 month and i tried just disabling them before i paid and it didnt work for me, so i just paid to get rid of them, maybe you got lucky
