mods power

can i give my mods more powers...?

Hi,

I'm sorry but you can only have the "Move, delete, lock, unlock, split, merge, basket" option.
You can not add additional powers.

but i want all of them to have power to the WHOLE forums..is that possible?

(but i don't want ppl to know that they do)

Sorry there is only one setting for mods and one for admin's and that is it.... we have asked for more settings for the mods and a mod'sControl Panel.
but just now we have not had no news on if we will get it or not please take a look at the Suggestions for your forums

You just give them permission in the Forums & Categories

Members are going to know anyways but you can do this

Admin Panel>>Display Tab>>Structure and hierarchy>>Go down till you see Hierarchy>>For Display forum moderators :>>Click No>>Save

You can allow a moderator to moderate your entire permission, just change the forums' permission for moderators so that the "Moderation" box is ticked for "Moderators"

What you could do is Set up an Group that is hid in there and
make That one Mod of all your Forums and then make shure its
on Hide and then add the mods you want to that one and tell
them not to tell the other mods and members

hm..that could work..i'll try it.

If you make it like this it should work ok

1, make a new group
2, When setting up the group set up all the Permissions all forums

This has Worked for me and all you have to do then is Add your members in there and send them a pm telling them that this will be removed if they Tell any one

but i think your find that the Staff will find out in the end when your mods fix, remove, ban, Edit and post and so on as it will show in that forum .... but hope this has helped you that little bit more

Good luck your best bit is to only add 2or 3 and maybe make a test Member 1 st and add that to it and see if the tools are there 1st
