Can I make my forum private?

I would like to make my forum private, so if somebody, exept me, wants to see it I get the message first, and the person needs my aproval. Is that possible? Plz answer.

All you have to do is set all your privacy settings for all of your forums to members only in the admin panel to disallow guests. Then turn off automatic approval of registrations.

Or you could simply create a group, then make it so that only members in that group can see your forums using permissions. After that when someone registers they wont be able to see any of your forums, and you have to manually add them, thus giving permission.
