Deleted Threads

Hi all,

I really hope you can help me! I am not the Admin of my forum but I do have admin privilges and I deleted a thread earlier which got a bit out of hand.

Now a member has advised they would like to be able to see the comments that they contributed.

Is there anyway I can get the thread back?

Any help would be greatly appreciated Smile

There is no possible way a member can restore the deleted topic,sorry.

This is why you should never delete threads...send them to the recycle bin which members cannot view!

I think that the owner would have to use the forum restore option to bring back the thread.

Ok thank you. I will contact the forums creator and ask.

Just out of curiousity can you advise how I would go about sending a thread to a recycle bin?

You would create a forum called recycle bin that members cannot see - only staff.

when a topic is no longer needed or gets out of hand, you can move it to the recycle bin.
