Possible to recover 3-year old deleted threads?

Hello, I apologize if this question was asked before but I found nothing similar on the search function.

My forum address is http://akatsukichatplay.omgforum.net/ (omgforum is a subsite of Forumotion if I understand correctly). I am not the creator of the forum but my friend is and I can easily get in touch with her.

In January 2013, our group had a huge argument and we brought somebody else into it; that person was from outside the forum, and we didn't want them seeing all the posts so we deleted everything (on January 6th 2013). At the time we didn't know what a huge mistake that would be.

Fast forward to now, and I'm talking with another person from our old group (the one that made the forum) and we're desperate to get all of the old threads back because we had 2 years worth of memories on there - we were on there from 2011 to 2013. We tried the back up function and we could only restore it back to August 2015. We're very angry at ourselves for deleting everything.

Is it possible to restore the forum back to January 5th, 2013 (or a bit earlier, as long as its closest to that day)? I saw somebody else who got their 3-year old forum recovered, and I'm not getting my hopes up but I decided to try.

It MAY be possible. If it is, the back up will have to be performed by a pro admin, as they are the only ones with access to back ups that are no longer listed in the utilities.

I say it MAY be possible, I know at some point a few years ago there was some sort of server or database issue that caused forumotion to lose very old back ups, I do not if 2013 back ups were effected or not, I am not sure. It MAY be possible though.

We must wait until tommorow morning for @Leviosa to get in the office to find out.

In the meantime, we would apperciate your patience on this.

Hello if you have the date on your founders tools to back the forum up to then yes but if you don't have that date then now we cannot do it as we have almost the same dates on our tools also.

As @Ape said we can't help with this unfortunately. You have access to approximatively one year of backup and that's it.

I figured that was the case..this will be a lesson to us then to not delete things in the future. Thank you for getting back to me though!
