Admin panel does not appear, and forum is"locked"

Having a few problems (newbie)

I log in as administrator, but cannot access the admin panel. After I log in as admin and then click on admin (beside the log-in), nothing happens.

ALSO: The forum is "locked" how do I unlock it?

To unlock your forum, you have to access the admin panel. When you log in, it should be at the footer of your forum under your new/no new/locked icons.

Your forum isn't locked because I can access it.

You can access ur admin panel by adding /admin next to the end of ur forum's URL

Another recurrent newbie question.

Your forum isn't locked. What you see at the bottom of your index page is actually a legend that tells you what each forum icon means. And so, if you have a "Locked" icon beside one of your forums, then it's locked. Otherwise, it isn't locked.
