Ok, can you please do these steps:

1) Set it to no - Disabled.
2) Log out of the forum entirely
3) Log back into the forum
4) Attempt to re-enable the security feature.

This could be a bug or something. Have you tried disabling it through the Utilities? You'll need to provide your founding information to gain access.

This could be a little bug / error, however I am unsure of it, and there has been no notice of this over in the french support forum.

Can you please go to: https://www.forumotion.com/en/utils/ and login with the founding information and u can disable the function there.

EDIT: If you have forgotten the password and/or the email address in use then please read: https://help.forumotion.com/rules-important-points-f10/for-founders-who-lost-their-passwords-t42285.htm

I tried that twice mate and it still didn't work, cos whats been happening is that someone has been getting into my account posing as me by getting a new pwd sent to their email addy, and whilst i cant see how thats happening myself, it still has been, and although my admin has been deleting this persons proxy IPs. he/she's still been getting in, and thats why i want to disable the pwd feature, but i still cant even with your help, so im really at a loss now, cos it seems someone's got it in for me.

That does not justify breaking the rules Mickymod. Bumping as well is irritating for me to be honest. Shocked

Anyways, link to your forum?
