Why are there adds on my forum, and how come there on other forums?????

I found advertisements some from Google, on other peoples forums who are with forumotion don't have this.

Look i use your space as free support for my community non-profit project, i do not even i use my my own adds on my community site, i would like to know whats going on.

They was not there yesterday.

You even don't have adds those adds here on your site!

There are no ads on the support forum because an admin has "purchased" an ad removal kit. Those ads will come as time goes by and the only way is to purchase a ad removal kit, via the admin panel.

I thought you can only get advertisements from wanting a custom domain, which you need to collect credits for, which i have not take part in.

As part of Forumotion hosting, you will eventually have ads on your forum.


If you have a custom domain, why would you have ads? Wouldn't you prefer a company which provides no ads?

Look people are willing to pay a cash fee or display a logo of the company, rather than have them advertisements displayed. - if possible to pay to get them off, how would one go about it?

Yes. Go to the ACP. Then: Misc. >> Spend Credits >> Ads (assuming you have credits), If not go back to Misc. and go to Buy Credits.

Yes it does. Don't feel that they are targeting you. Anyway, why would they put an ad removal section.

Yeah true, they got phpBB from sourcefroge, that's my project is at too.

But they have html page space, but you could just upload a html page to google groups or something anyway....
