Former Members Getting New member notices?

One of my Boards Former members closed her account. (np) I checked and couldnt find her info or account so its all Gone.. or so i thought.. Recently she informed me that she is getting emails about the new members of my forum. I checked her email addy against Every member on my board and cant find any email the same as her's so im a bit puzzled as to how she is getting them..

Is there a setting That cashed her email addy? or a setting to allow this option for Admins only?

How did she close her account? You need to recheck her username if its still there.
