Solved Help! I no longer have a use for my site.

Post by jet1959mo September 27th 2009, 2:24 pm

I know how to delete my site but, as of 10/03/09, I will no longer be in need of using it.
So I am not charged again for my domain name, how do I quit subscription?

Where did you buy your domain name?

You bought the domain name for a year, no way of reducing it to a 6 month period or other. You cannot get a refund that way.

I wasn't asking for a refund. I just want to stop from paying for another year when it comes time.

No you won't have to. The amount cannot be directly deducted unless you buy credits to get the domain.

Oh, ok so if I don't have enough credits then my actual domain name will expire? and I can delete my site, then unregister here?

You can delete your site now itself.

If you need to extend your domain name, you will need to buy credits & then spend them.
Only after you choose to spend them, only then will the credits be deducted.
