members not getting newsletters
Hi, first of all sorry if this has been asked but i did look and couldnt see anything.
Im sending weekly new letters and allot of my members are complaining they are not getting them, i have asked then if they choose to have emails from the site/admin when they signed up and they all did. what is going wrong?

Re: members not getting newsletters
This is a matter of a users' personal profile.
If a user wants the email he/she can change the permissions via:
Profile ( in the navigation bar, can be called User control panel/UCP ) > Preferences > Allow newsletters = Yes.

Re: members not getting newsletters
It could be in their spam folder/junk folder or being deleted by their settings of their email.

Re: members not getting newsletters
Mr Marios explanation seems like the problem, but as stated before they all have the option selected to get the newsletters and emails

Re: members not getting newsletters

Re: members not getting newsletters
This problem is always re-occurring, maybe I should bookmark it?
OK, please go to:
Admin panel >> General >> Newsletters/Savebox> do you see the one you recently sent to all members?
If so, under the "groups" row, what does it say?

Re: members not getting newsletters
Hi
I am having this problem too. Under the groups heading it shows "All members"
No one is getting the newsletter and I am getting the following message:
"This is the mail system at host s43.dnspro.org.
I'm sorry to have to inform you that your message could not
be delivered to one or more recipients. It's attached below.
For further assistance, please send mail to <postmaster>
If you do so, please include this problem report. You can
delete your own text from the attached returned message.
The mail system

b.mx.mail.yahoo.com[74.6.136.65] refused to talk to me: 421 4.7.0 [TS01]
Messages from 173.192.27.195 temporarily deferred due to user complaints -

and it continues down a long list.
Any help gratefully appreciated.
Thanks

Re: members not getting newsletters
Yups,
According to what i experince while sending newsletter to my all members, i face this problem too that some of the members could not receive newsletter mail but this problem occurs to only those members who have Yahoo Id & what i observe is that all my members who have their id on hotmail.com or some other domain ( except Yahoo ) they are receiving newsletterat every time.
I don,t know that is there any problem with Yahoo or something else.
But this is what i observed.

Re: members not getting newsletters
Yes Yahoo seems to be the main domain that is rejecting the e-mails.
