Points=Prizes

We need something that can make the users on everyones forum more active

How???

By using Points(We have that) to virtually buy virtual things(we dont have)

What do i mean??

People can buy all kinds of things (ex. Wallpapers=50 Points) then whoever buys it loses 50 points.

It seems like a good idea becuase it can make the users more active by wanting to get more points
The more you post the more points you get.

So somewhat like a shop?

Also a poll with the option of "yes" and "no" would be very useful
