Background problems

Whenever I change my background to a different image, it's not switching to the background I chose.

I want to use this background: http://d21c.com/walpurgis9/spiders/part1/1005.jpg

But whenever I go to: Display > Pictures and Colors > Simple Mode > Background picture (page) and paste the link, it doesn't work.

Yes, I've tried Advanced Mode and it still doesn't work. Can anybody help me out with that?

Nope. Didn't change.

are you hitting save and putting it in the right place?
here try a css code.

admin panel>display>colors>CSS Stylesheet.
place the code below in there and hit save. it should work.
it's working over here. looks pretty cool, but i'll go back to what i had.

anyway let us know how you make out. it might be a skin issue?

cool. there must be something wrong with that skin if the other way did not work?
not sure. remember you can always change the link in the code if you want to add a different back ground latter. just use the direct link from tinypic,photobucket or servimg.. any other image host you might use. just be sure the direct link will work for layouts. I'm pretty sure all of them would.
