Header won't auto resize with the forum width

I made up a header and the width is 1226px. When I add my header not all of the pictures is displayed.

Is there any CSS code that I can make my header auto resize to the forum width?

BTW Im using PunBB, I need help please...

you can provide a screen shot too if you liker but if you do please use a image host like.

What I did is resize my header to 980px and it displays the image right. But what if the user uses high resolution the header may not change to the current resolution.

Can you give me any CSS codes that will make it auto resize?
