disable forum indefinite time

how to disable forum to an indefinite time (like "forum in construction") but not for only a day?

i think there's no other way unless activating forum on construction and forum on holiday.

activating forum in construction earlier was for indefinite time, maybe when they changed added some other option?

Its been for 24 hours. You will need to put it back after the 24 hours is up.

construction and holiday mode both have to be checked off for any amount of time past 24 hours. it always worked for me that way

or better yet. just change the link. no one will know where it's at accept the forums admins. then when you ready to re-open. just change the link back to what it was before..

be sure if you change the link you copy it and bookmarks so you don't lose the new link though.
