Coloring Issues

I am trying to apply a new theme to my site, but some of the coloring will not display correctly. I have attempted to set the colors in ACL>Display>Pictures and Colors>Colors however it won't apply correctly.

The white areas should be gray like the outer border, the gray area should be black and the text should be green as the code below.

I could do this easily if the settings I applied in the menu took, but without the menu I'm pretty lost.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ended up finding the places in the CSS that altered what I needed.
