Solved My categories are not showing up!!!

Hi guys,
If u could respond that would be great. My categories aren't showing. At first there was one categorie but i think i did something and it dissapeared! I noticed that it said first category at first when it was showing on my forum but when it dissapeared it said (first category) with these marks on it at beginning and end () . make a forum in it and it will start showing again

the category without forum can not be viewed unless it is attached to another category
