Avatar bug

Hello.
I am try to add an avatar image to the members that didn't have update the profile.

I set this option in admin panel (avatars gallery) I selected the avatar I want as default and did work ok at first but soon, the image disappear and I have to add the image again.

Now, the new members sign in and they still dont have this avatar show in they're profile.
As I didn't found a solution for this, I decide to make this avatar to show in the profiles by going to the member profile in my admin panel and add manually the avatar to the member profile.
All this was ok and the avatars are showing but since yesterday, I am not able to ad the avatar to the new members or to any other member !!
The avatar still show in the (avatar gallery - default avatar)

NOTE - avatar is ok with measures and have been ad before to many other members, I still see the avatar in the members profile but the avatar have not been ad to new members e/or I can not ad the avatar to the new members.

Thing to let you know:
When I was adding the avatar to the members profile (when was working) after I click -save- The option - Allow newsletters :- come back to (NO), so I have to save first time the avatar and than next put the - Allowed newsletter (YES) back and save again.

I believe this is a bug.

Talking about bugs, I try to create groups since last month and I have been waiting for the Updates, this feature don't work too and I ad already one of forumotion helpers but with no results !
This is other of the problems I been try to solve but never get to work.

My forum needs technical support.

Should I put in the header (Forum bug) and not Avatar bug ?

Come on guys, This is a forum bug (not just this one, I can not add members to my member groups too) and you dont care ?

Hi Kabbalien, sorry for not checking your post earlier.

The default avatar doesn't show up for already registered members. Only new members, will get that.

is this groups issue the cause of forumotion are not accepting any one in the groups ?

I don't understand what you are asking for the groups.

I really appreciate if someone pay a bit of attention to this post , please.

1- FORUM
My forum is still too slow. (I have a 10M line)
Problems with illiweb.com . Takes an abnormal time to respond.
This problem is around since May 2009 and is getting worse.

2-AVATAR
When I go to see the profile> members profile > modify a user, I choose 1 image from my avatar gallery and I add the image. After save , the box (receive news letter) go to no.
To solve this , I have to put the (receive news letter back) and save again.

3-MEMBERS GROUP
I open 3 groups, one for each moderator.
Member sign to make part of a group.
Moderator or administrator can not add the member.

I can see the member in the group page and is waiting to be accepted.
I click accept or reject and nothing happen.

If I copy the member name and add to the (ad members manually) it says (this member make part of this group already... but not !
The member still show in request waiting for approval and nothing happen.

CONCLUSION: the buttons of accept and rejected in the groups page are not working

Nice updates.
My problems still exist !
Any help ?

The reason for this to happen was because I have made a widget (share button) on the side of my template, before the updates .

After the updates, the share button I have made as widget still work on the main board forum but stop to work on the message board.

I remove the SHARE Widget and now the SHARE link is working.

I need technical help with my groups.
(please read topic from start)

If no one move this post to technical issues board or answer, I will have to start other topic about the same in a different board and I don't believe that is ethical for a forum, unless I feel I am forced to do so !

Typlo forward this to the team and they put a fix out today. The best would be to recreate the groups so its fresh

I see was made some changes in my forum (groups) so, I create new groups and start from fresh but the groups dont show to members or to me !
The only group I make part administrators, its the only one I can see.

as a member, I see groups button but say (No Group Exists) and no choice.

My groups are open and I have set up everything as normal.

Maybe this help ...

Some times I go to my forum and I have a file coming up on my screen ask me if I
want to download or save the file.

This file come up, if I click something in the forum too(what ever link or button is) but not all the times.

I try to download this but takes long time.
I stop the download and I have the file in my desktop.

Its anyway to send this file to you guys and see if we get this sorted ?

I need help with my forum PHPBB2, I believe its a bug in my scripts.
I can not open groups or ad members.

Members here is lame to answer, waited awhile for my topics too..

I still have the same problem
1 -my groups dont show
2 - members can add himself to a group but the buttons Accept / Reject are not working.


After I open groups with moderators of the forum as moderators of the groups, the groups never show to members.

I try to open a group and add a normal member as moderator of the group and now members can see that group.
Problem is that , members can ad himself to the group but the moderators can not accept or reject the members as the buttons are not working.

(This topic is running since - Oct 26 2009 - and no one is able to help in this forum !?)
