Different moderators for different forums?

Hi,

I would like to know if I can add different individuals as moderators of different forums in my board.

For example, A will be mod of forum X only and B will be mod of forum Y only. And they both will be members of the same group "Moderators". Is it possible? If so, then how?

Hello,

All you are required to do is create two ( or more ) different user groups.

Administration panel=>Users and Groups Tab=>Groups=>Group Administration=>Create new group

After you create your new user group, to do what you'd like, you have to make them moderator user groups.

=>Permissions Tab=>Moderator status=>Mark what forums that user group can moderate.

And, you can add your members to that user group, so that they will gain permission to moderate in that certain forum, and if you do this more, then you will know that you can allow members to moderate in different forums,

Thanks Master Marc! Your suggestion helps. In fact, I thought of this earlier. But I have about 50+ forums in the board. So, it will be really a tedious job. Still, I have no other way out!
