How can I give a member Admin access without adding them to the Admin group?

The only other way is to give them your founder's username and password.

But, that's a bad idea, .

I suggest you hide the normal administrator user group, and create a new administrator user group that can be displayed to every member. So now, when you add someone to the normal admin group, they'll have the powers, and you don't have to add them to the fake admin group that your members will view.
