Forumotion Vector Competition 2010

Welcome to Forumotion's first vector competition!


Information

The objective of this competition is to create a brand new Forumonster using vector art! What is vector art you ask, it's basically an art form using shapes, colors, and gradients to produce a somewhat realistic image.

The Forumonster you create has to be original and can't be a copy of any current Forumonsters. Once you entry is finished post it here. The due date is 01/21/10.


Rules

• Only one entry is allowed.

• Your entry has to be original.

• You must create your entry yourself.

Prizes

There will be three different categories for prizes in this competition and each category will have one winner. Each winner will receive a custom rank.

I hope transparency doesn't count..I couldn't make this transparent

I make the previous image transparent but this one fails to.



Although if transparent does count, please use the previous image I gave you (the head-only one)

-Quick question: Are the participants expected to have it in a .Ai format, so it can be enlarged/minized without loosing quality?

Yeah, it needs to be transparent...

No, any size .png file will do.

Thanks. Does the vector have to be similar in shape/size to the current Forummotioner, or can we be creative?

Damn , I did it with gimp i never made something with gimp so here it is i know its worse xD

You know, since the graphic designers are probably going to judge them, I would like to see them have a go at it. I don't think judging something which you can't do is right, so come on graphic designers, give it a crack.

Agree with David :B I'd like to see LH's one he's really good with vectors.
