BBC Code problem Empty BBC Code problem

Post by Susan August 1st 2007, 2:35 pm

I got this embedded in my post this morning...tried deleting the post and reposting, it was still there.

<BLOCKQUOTE> , </BLOCKCODE>

Can't get rid of it. When I try to go into edit mode, it doesn't show, but when I post it does show...any clues to why this happened?

Thank you in advance for your help.

i have not seen it like on the bbcode or an advanced bbcode i have used, i would think its possibly a system setting preventing you from a certain code, maybe it had something in it that isnt allowed for reasons of scripts used by hackers to gain entry etc, some html tags are unsafe.

Thanks, I don't know what would have been unsafe, I didn't add the code, it added itself...and it did not show up until I posted...I was not using any codes at all.

Delete that post and redo it.

Maybe it was a one time glitch.

Topdown, thanks, I tried that...it was still in the new post that I have posted there. I have made other posts since then, and they are fine. It is probably a glitch.
