Guys, I want to promote my forum here... But am I allowed to put a R18 Section in my forum?

R18 might stand for rated 18...

Yes, R18 means Rated18, means only individuals above 18 is allowed to view the content.

R18 content is something that contains mature content...such as porn, or you can put it uncensored materials.

but i will put some restrictions...

You may put that r18 section...but you have to consider this few things:

1) whether or not your users are comfortable with your idea

2) whether or not there are restrictions before accessing the section

3) or whether you have a backup plan in case anything happens

4) finally, ensure you have a strong reason why you set up the section

Forgive me for asking...

But why would anyone want to have material of an R18 nature on their forum anyway?

If it's porn you want there's plenty for your users to find themselves online. Do you really need to host it?

no... its juts happen that.. its related to my forum.. Anime forum.. and they requested to have a R18 section for the 18 and above users...



any suggestion guys...


i already setup the restrictions and registration thread for my r18 section... so if the user dont wwant this thread they will not see it....
(my r18 section is bout hentai (anime porn something like that) but we still apply the rules and regulation of the forum that. the uploader or the members shouldnt post any obscene material/s )

One way it might work it to create an R18 rank. Members who wish to view the content could sign up to be part of the R18 group.

You could then restrict access to that forum in the admin panel to the R18 group only.

Whether or not forumotion would like the idea is another matter but that's how I would implement it.

The rules from forumotion are pretty clear...no obscene material.

No you are not allowed to have anything like porn or anything that is breaking the ToS. I suggest you read the ToS to know what is allowed and not.
