Admin Panel unable to update any stuffs?
1. The issue is that whenever I update any stuffs (yes, anything), it just go back to the Home page of the Admin Panel without savingany of the updated information.
This makes the unable to do any Administrated task to the forums, including adding moderator, update member profile, banning members, adding categories and etc....
2. And another issue is that, whenever I try clicking on moderate this forum to do any deleting, locking, unlocking, or moving, it will not work as well. It will only show "session has expired" message. I tried deleting the cache already, but it won't work as well.
So now the only powers I am able to do is to lock/unlock the forums by clicking on the icons for the Quick moderation tools, thats all. I have 2 icons, 1 for locking and 1 for moving threads and only the locking is working. Even selecting the functions from the drop down list for the Quick moderation tools doesn't work too.
The only thing I can do now is lock/unlock thread through the quick mod tools icon and also delete post.
Can anyone help, I only know it suddenly happened this way, cause I was using the forums fine 1mth ago, when I leave the forums and came back, this happens.

Re: Admin Panel unable to update any stuffs?
Oh, that happened to me before. Lemme guess... you are using the AOL browser? If you are, switch to another browser such as Google Chrome, IE7, IE8, or Firefox.

Try anonymouse.org to access your site & see if you are able to make any changes.

Re: Admin Panel unable to update any stuffs?
Oh gosh...Everything runs fine from anonymouse.org...
But does that mean that I must do everything from the site? Cause I prefer doing it from the main site instead.

Hmm...so if I ever appoint moderators, they must also moderate via anonymouse.com? It's quite troublesome actually.
Is it a script issue or something? I hope it gets solve or something.

Re: Admin Panel unable to update any stuffs?
Another problem arise. Yes, using anonymouse.com allows me to be able to assess the Admin panel and use moderation tools.
However there is an issue over it, there is always a JS error whenever I use anonymouse.com to assess the Admin Panel. Whenever I access this page:
When I try to add a new profile field or even try to modify the existing ones, it shows:
It shows a blank space there. Whenever I don't use the anonymouse.com to assess the Admin Panel, it won't show a blank space instead it shows the form there, but without using Anonymouse.com, I cannot make any changes to the Admin Panel.
I want to create a warning bar for my forums, and if I can't add any profile icon, there is no way that I can do so.!!!!!
Can anyone PLEASE HELP, thanks alot..It's very essential for me!

Re: Admin Panel unable to update any stuffs?
It's the same with firefox...Just that firefox don't show any JS error issues...I still cannot create the user profile field to include warning level.
Next on, How come my thanks button is now showing despite the icon for the 'thanks" button not hidden, as well as the 'thanks' button system being activated already.
I checked it for at least 3 times.
Please enlighten me, anyone thanks!

Re: Admin Panel unable to update any stuffs?
Hi, Sanket..
I think it's the problem with anonymouse.org.
Cause If i don't use anonymouse.org to access the page to create/edit user profile, I won't be shown a form, just a blank space, just that without using anonymouse.org, there is nothing I can do with Admin Panel as I cannot save any changes at all.

Can you give me some information?
Without using anonymouse.org go there.
"Users & Groups" > Users > Special Users
Once you hit Special users, can you tell me whats the url you see in the address bar?

Re: Admin Panel unable to update any stuffs?
Anyway, Sanket, I am querying about "Users & Groups" > Users > Profile, why are you asking me to provide "Users & Groups" > Users > Special Users??
This is the one I get with the normal accessing for the profile page:
http://celebs.talk-forums.com/admin/index.forum?part=users_groups&sub=users&mode=avatar_profil2&sid=5cae04ac4ac3c6c391161e0c8ad41251
This is the one with anonymouse.org:
www.cgi/http://celebs.talk-forums.com/admin/index.forum?part=users_groups&sub=users&mode=avatar_profil2&sid=41f02a77a58a653e80b768e40107c2f1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://anonymouse.org/cgi-bin/anon-www.cgi/http://celebs.talk-forums.com/admin/index.forum?part=users_groups&sub=users&mode=avatar_profil2&sid=41f02a77a58a653e80b768e40107c2f1
Edit:
BTW Sanket, I asked you whether before that if I promote other users in my forums to moderator, will the error message "Your session has expired" appear. You say it would work perfectly fine for them.
But I tested with another account which I assigned moderator to, same issue happens. I don't want to tell all the users whom are moderator in my forums to always go to anonymouse.org, it's pretty idiotic and they might get scare away.

Re: Admin Panel unable to update any stuffs?
Well, it depends on the person's location. So i really can't judge whether it will happen to them or not.
Also, moderators won't have issues since they are only going to moderate & not access the admin panel.
