Solved Members unable to register

Post by Redspooks April 28th 2010, 5:35 pm

Myself as Admin & the user name I will be using, plus another user were all able to register OK when the forum was set up last week.

Every new member trying to register is having a problem joining because of a box after Registration Details called Personalized profile asking for Comments*: People are typing in Name, email address, password but don't [understandably] realise something has to be typed in this box... it can be any word you like! If they omit to type in something and press send, they go on to next window and enter/confirm password again, then press send and they get returned to previous page with the message... You must fill in the required fields. and password box empty.

Is this a setting I have inadvertently set or a glitch? Can I bypass it anyway if it cant be deleted?

Also E-mail address : * - mail is underlined as a hyper link and if you hover over it, you get a link to http://www.edintorni.net/uk/

Thanks, but I had already checked if settings were set correctly and also that the forum is not on holiday or under construction and they are OK - as they should be as per above link.
