Desperate for chat solution

I'm sorry if this post breaks the rules, but I'm desperate. I have several forumotion.com forums and they work fine. What I now need, almost to save my life, is something like forumotion, but for chat.

In other words, I would like people to go to a certain URL and have to log in with user name and password. After logging in, they are taken to a chat application -- php, flash, java, I DON'T CARE! -- the only requirement is that they must log in! And I can't find that ANYWHERE.

Does anyone know of such a chat facility? I don't mind paying, but access to the chatroom has to be limited just like access to forums can be limited to members.

I'm thinking... make a new forum with all your settings & make ONE forum that is only visible to members. In the forum, make a thread with an xat chat or something.

you can activate the ChatBox
Admin panel >> Modules > Chat box/configuration > Active = Yes, select location & save.
This is ONLY available to members, and require login.

I don't think he wanted forums though.
