Signature character limit

As an admin, I like what Mr.Mario has done with his sig. I created something similar but exceeded the 500 character limit. I copy/pasted Mr.Mario's sig into mine, and it exceeded the limit.

How did he do it? How can I do it?

The reason why this doesn't work is because its not the right code I wrote.
