A simple question!

Hi,
This is going to sound very nooby, but I am running a forum competition and am wanting to announce it using the Announcements section of the Admin panel but have tried without success to get it to work.

The announcement appears but what is the link to register on a forum?

if it is not,

just log out of your forum, right click on the word "Register" then copy the link location

Yes I tried that in HTML code for the editor but it just says 'cannot display webpage'.

What html code did you use?

This code but with appropriate text in:

<a href=“http://Internet URL goes here.”>Title the visitor sees.</a>

I have checked this code, it works.
