Delete the search box in version 3

I am talking about the search box below the navagation bar in version 3.

Why was it even added when we already have the search feature?

Remove the nevbar search link not the box.

I'd like to get rid of the search box too, it takes up a bunch of extra space with the extra line. Any way of doing this?

Here's what my navigation bar looks like (much like the one in this forum). I'd like to either delete the search box, or move it up a level with all the other links.

You could hide the Search button if you want. But then no one will see it either if it's a guest or member or admin. To hide it go to admin panel=>Styles=>Pictures and Colors=>Modify the pictures and look for the Search button. When you find it click on it and then check the Hide box.
