Youtube videos?

Hi everybody.I'm turkish and I can't speak english very well.

Question is:How play youtube videos in my forum ?

I don't know u understand be but please help?

Unless you have the owner of the you tube expressed permission to use post the youtube video, you cannot post it! Doing so will get your site deleted.

So ıf i put youtube videos in my site,My site will deleted won't it?

If you want you can post links to youtube videos but you are not allowed to embed them. So if you don't embed any videos from youtube everything will be ok.

What if you want to embed your own you tube vids as i am having the same problem.

Luky is correct, we are not allowed to embed Youtube videos on our forums for juridical reasons. Only post links to the video's you would like to share there.

Tutt : If these are your youtube videos, created by you, with all contents copyright free. I do believe you may embed them. I'm not positive, you may want to ask Armay & Roadhog in the juridical section to better answer that question for you. Just to be sure. Good Luck

I have tried embedding them, when i click preview the video is there but then when i send it & it goes onto the board all i see is the embeded code & no video, what do i do there. i have the HTML on in my profile but when i am writing a message, it says the HTML code is off, i don't know if that is anything to do with it, i am a bit of a novice at the moment.

We are all novices in the begining sweety, Its ok. Welcome to the support forum. Have you made sure to click the HTML button on before you save it to post..Its the lil Double "A' Button in the top right corner of the box you post in. Try that and see if that works..But please just to be safe check for permission 1st with Armay & Roadhog in the juridical section here. Forums can be deleted without notice for not following the rules. Its better to be safe then sorry .

I personally dont see why your not aloud to embed youtube videos, there is an option on the Youtube website, when viewing a video that your aloud to embed it.

Hi Morgan, I understand your veiw, but It is against the rules for juridical reason. The host owners have laws to abide to as well for providing this free service to us. So its necessary to make sure you follow these guidlines. Failing to do so could mean the loss of your forum completely. I hate to sound like I'm trying to moderate here. I just want to put it out there so you are aware. It would be horrible to lose your forum over a song or video you felt like embeding on your board, ya know?

I understand now and I know it's completely up to Forumotion weather this is aloud or not but I didn't understand why, thanks for filling me in. Nah, you don;t sound like a moderator, but I think you'd make a good one. Very quick to help others

That is my thread i started & i am still not getting anywhere with any answers, it is my videos i will be embedding nobody elses, but still no answers.+ i have the permission from the artists to use Esnips audio tracks.

Now i have permission from the artists to use You Tube clips & permission from the artist to use Esnips audio clips, can i embed now that i have permission as that is what is being said, nobody has to pay any money to anyone & everybody is happy.

What do they put the embed on the vids 4 if u can't use it it's a mystery to me, nobody at the top knows how you do it, so that's it then, nobody has the right to show there own vids on there own message board

Go to Admin Panle -> Modules ->HTML and click on Create new HTML page than place the youtube emband code and save it.
Than take the html link and put it somwere and name it example: my new video.

I have got the hang of the BB code for you tube i have put one of my own on my site with no problem, but when i tried my others the same way they would not embed why is this i am confused now

So there is no way to get videos in the forum? Because I run a Sim League and I tape these games, and I wanna show them. So I cant get the videos at all. I activated the HTML and I still got nothing
