I Cannot Change The Messages Button

I'm having trouble changing the Messages button on the front page (On this, its the text in between "profile" and "Log out". When I try to change it I get the error message, "You must provide a menu name", but option entitled "Menu" is grayed out. I've tried in several different browsers and on two different computers to no avail. This only happens for Messages, all other buttons work fine.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

This option never worked so don't do anything there.

You have to go to Display // Pic Management // Advanced // Click what you want to change for the nav.
