Re: Problem with my fourms and categories
Try using a different browser than what you are using. If you don't know, a browser is a program you use to access the internet. If you haven't downloaded any others, you probably use Internet Explorer. Try going to

http://www.mozilla.com for Firefox

Categories not showing
Just a newbie! I set up a forum, created 2 categories, posted a topic in each category, but they do not show up on the forum preview, or if I connect as a visitor. The topics show up OK.

The Categories do not show on the home page, but if I go to one of the topics, then it does show the category. You can look at sooke.forumotion.com, don't mind the content, I'm just experimenting...

Re: Problem with my fourms and categories
Yes, all forums. If you select one, then you will see under the search box, the Forum path, which shows each of those forums in in a category. If you click on the category, then you get a page with the category and the forum. So the categories are there, but not displaying on the home page. I have checked permissions, it all looks good.
I tried deleting everything and starting again, same problem.

You did it, Sanket! Thank you very much, I would never have found that answer.
I would have thought that would be the default setting, guess not...
