Well if you delete a picture you can't get them back without saving so if you save the picture and you need it for later then you have it xD

Are you using the gallery? If so if you delete them from servimg you will get space back. If you are deleting a hosted image you upload to servimg you won't run out of space. You can delete them or keep them but it won't make a difference.

Are you using the gallery? This will only affect the 20 MB at default if you are using the attachment and gallery feature. If you aren't using the gallery/attachment feature don't worry as the image won't take up space.

Gallery is something different as allowing users to upload images to the gallery in the navigation bar. That is for hosting images for the forum. If you really want to delete them just login into your account and delete then. You won't lose space if they are still there.
