Category colors

I tried to change the color of the borders for the categories on my forum.
I went to Admin CP > Display > Pictures and Colors > Colors

From there, I changed the "Category border color," but when I refresh the forums, the color is the same as the previous one. For a second or two after I refresh the site, the borders are the color I specified, but then changes back to the previous color. The same thing happens whether I use IE, Firefox, or GChrome.

I guess no one here has the expertise to help me with this problem.
Should this be locked?

Knew it was a silly question. I frequently change the appearance of my forum in the way you describe & have had no problems. What version are you using??

Everything has worked ok for me in phpBB2 & phpBB3, even when I resynchronise the forum. Perhaps someone else may be able to assist you.

I whited out the topics and everything except for the border. I want the light blue border to be green. Am I doing it right?

If it is green in the Table Header then it should be the same on your forum. Have just been experimenting & installed that HexCC twice on my forum's Category background colour & it worked both times. The colour remained even after resynchronising.

So it is a mystery, as to why won't install satisfactorily on your forum.

It's like this for everyone else on my forum, too.

That is a shame. Wonder if you could try re-installing the skin. I have fixed a different sort of problem by doing this. The green is definitely a better colour than the other one, IMO.
