Portal News Module/Block

Sorry, I didn't know which category to put this in, but....

I have the portal news block turned on, but it only shows the posts that are normal, not the ones that are Sticky or Announcements. Is there a way I could set it to only show the announces?

Not at the moment, I'm afraid. I kept wondering why I couldn't get any of my announcements to post on the portal page for quite some time, myself. But right now, the only way to have your news show up is make sure that the post is niether a sticky, nor an announcement. You can lock the forum from allowing people to post in there tho, and it will still work.
