Let me make sure I understand this..

www.123.com/index.htm is redirected to www.xyz.com

on www.xyz.com you have placed a link to www.123.com/portal.htm but when you click on that link it takes you back to www.xyz.com?

Is this correct?

You got it.

When I place the code into my admin panel to redirect the page to the page to the page I created http://www.n123.com/Home-page-h2.html it works fine but if you click on the links I created on http://www.n123.com/Home-page-h2.html to go back to my portal http://www.123.com/portal.htm or the forum homepage http://www.123.com/index.htm it loops right back the http://www.n123.com/Home-page-h2.html.

Hi,
You are using a script to redirect the visitor from the portal to you Html page. this script is in a portal mod ?
If it's right, each time you will go on the portal, the script will redirect you to your Html page. It will be a bit hard to fix that if you don't know how javascript works.
