Adding a "Recent Posts" bar/window thing.

Is this possible, to have a "recent posts" box to the left of your forum, so people can see the latest threads that have been posted? Rather than having to see active topics...

I have seen it done, but was wondering if it was possible on forummotion forums..

Thanks a heap mate, its great. If I can, sorry to ask a bit more, but is it possible to only display the "last topic" rather than last posts? It shows the topics, but it shows who last posted in it, rather than just the last topic posted all together..
