Are global mods also the same as Administrators?

I want to know what the difference is between global mods and administrators and mods and global mods. I know that with global mods and mods global mods mod 'everything', but I have no idea what that exactly means. I just saw that on a topic, and I want a more specific answer. Second, if they really do moderate 'everything', then aren't they just administrators? What is the difference? Does this mean global mods can access the ACP?

Main Difference:

Administrators can only access the Administration Panel.

Global Moderators do not have permission to go there.

Umm... that still doesn't help. I need a list of things global mods do and a list of things admins do and a list of things mods do, and which ranks overpower each other.

Admins are totally different, as they get admin access. [Thats universal for all]

About Mods & G Mods, its upto you how you fix their responsibilities.

Generally a G Mod, gets moderation access to more parts than the moderator.

SO you decide, how much access you want to give.

Well, I will take it as an excuse to make a rank higher than moderators, but lower than admins, which I needed an excuse for. Thanks for the help. Finally, another excuse to make another rank above mods. I don't think I could move up the site owner rank on my forums any more. Otherwise it would be ultimate site owner, site owner, administrator, moderator, and support user. That would be confusing.
