Resrictions on Newly Registered Members
Hello, I am new here and I am wondering how to apply restrictions to Newly Registered Members?
Example: They must have at least 25 post in order to PM members, use the signature area, etc.
For signature restrictions, so far I don't see an option to restrict just Newly Registered members from using their signature.

Re: Resrictions on Newly Registered Members
Restricting new members will only put them off.

Yes but when they become veterans it is more worthwhile for them. Rewards for veteran members have really motivated and improved communities in my experience.
Anyways, in direction to the OP, I don't think you can restrict those fields through the ACP. I know things like Reputation can be restricted by numbers, but I don't know about sigs and PMs. I may be overlooking the field though.

You can make new group and set that when member posts on example 25 posts enters that group....now, you can set up signatures for the groups you want, for pm go to acp > general > Messages and e-mails > private messages > and set the "minimum posts before sending private messages" to the number you want

Although I don't see a way to restrict new members from using their signature, you are able to apply a signature restrictions.
Go to your ACP and click on the Users & Groups tab. Under the Users box on your left hand side click on Users Options. Scroll down until you come to Users Settings. You should see Allow Signatures :

Believe me when I say that it works in getting members to post.

Thanks! However, unless the computer puts members who have reach 25 post in a group automatically, it could be a lot of work tracking who has reached 25 post and then placing them in that group.
Re: Resrictions on Newly Registered Members
Posting consecutively is not tolerated unless separated by 24 hours since the last post. In future, please use the edit button.
Not if you use an auto-subscribe group: https://help.forumotion.com/t57913-auto-subscribe-to-groups
...then for signature restrictions go to:
1. Administration Panel (advanced mode)
2. Users & Groups Tab
3. Users options (on the left, under Users)
4. Select 'Allow Signatures : Yes'
5. Allow the auto-subscribe group you've just created
