patched - issue with friends / foes

myself and admins from a couple of other forums have in the last 2 weeks posted about a problem with the friends/foe system where the foes bit is not working - it is possible to see posts from people on the foes list, and recieve PMs from them.

i and i believe other admins are getting more and more complaints from members about this and so far it seems as if nothing has been done, and it has been brushed off as no importance. (threads https://help.forumotion.com/t90930-foes-list-doesn-t-work

the forum i run does have members with totally opposing views and for many they feel the foes management is essential as it means they can block out those whom they do not wish to discuss things with.

repeat my members cannot put people on ignore because putting them of foes list is not blocking them.

can someone please have a look at this and help.

Same here on our forum, we have tested it with a non admin account, and also members are now saying the same thing.
The foe feature isnt working. Posts from a 'foe' are appearing as if posted normally.

that makes another forum with this problem.

I think we're going to be stuck with this issue forever....

i have to admit i am finding forumotions staff silence on this to be very annoying and disrespectful.

this is a serious problem for us and it would be nice to at least have an acknowledgement that the problem exists

I have had an on going issue for months thats not been resolved. I am quite dissapointed with the lvel of service provided here and want to move my forum.
HOwever cant even do that here..

Same here. We had issues several weeks ago, no answers provided as to how it was fixed, despite many inquiries and pm's. We were just told, "It's fix, don't worry about it." Well we were worried and still are - the same problem is occurring again that made our forum go down for two days, it is going to happen again. If we had gotten answers, we could prevent it or fix it ourselves.

Just keeping you guys up to date;
The fix has been made, however the Developers have a higher priority at the moment, which is delaying the release of the patch.

my members are reporting that the issue seems to have been fixed. i will keep everyone updated.

A patch was deployed a few days ago. Please provide us some feedback whether it fixed the issue or not.
