Post by Empire_1 Mon 8 Aug 2011 - 2:05

If I type in my current standard Forumotion-provided address after I obtain a new custom URL, will my standard address redirect to my new one?

Where's this Force Redirection? In "configuration?" Security?

Lol thanks. No wonder I don't have "force redirection." Because my request for a domain name is still processing!! Razz
-----------

How long will it take for me to have my domain name? Will they send me an email to confirm it? Or does it just appear after it's finished processing?

You will receive an email when it is ready. I think for me it took about four days, maybe five.

Wait, but do I have to click something in the email to activate it? If I do, what does it say?

Or is it just a notification email and you don't have to press anything?

Just a notification with a link to your new domain. It's actually kind of exciting. Smile

YES!! So you don't have to activate it right? Once you receive the email, it just means it's already activated right??
