delete unactivated user

A user has registered 2 versions of his name, skitz and skitz_
Now there is some problem of the email I think, so actually he has only activated the latter. He now wants me to delete the first one, and change the username of the latter one to skitz. Problem is, I can not access a user that is not activated, and I cannot change skitz:_->skitz, because the system knows that there is a registration pending for skitz.

What do I do?

Activate the user and than make the changes?

The problem is that he cannot access his own activation, according to the information he has given me.

edit: oh wait, I believe I am finding something under User Admin -> inactive users ....

Go to AP > Users and grups > Inactive users and you activate it or delete it.

Bingo ! Problem solved !
