Typo in invision forum (Greek language) Empty Typo in invision forum (Greek language)

Post by Biker September 29th 2011, 4:11 pm

I don't even know if i'm posting in the right section but here is my problem.
In my forum (invision version) there is a typo in the word that translates "Welcome".
In Greek the right translation is "Καλώς ήρθατε" . How ever in the forum it translates as " Καλός ήρθατε",a translation that has an entirelly different meaning.

Here is a snapshot:

The typo is in the area you see the cursor.

I haven't been able to find a setting where i can fix the typo.

I 've then visited other forumotion (Greek language) forums and realized that no one could change the typo either.
Maybe there isn't a setting problem but a script or code problem, i don't know...

Is there a way to fix it myself, or it is something only the forumotion team can do?
If there is nothing i can do, please fix it forumotion team! salut

Try putting this into a Javascript file in modules>javascript management

Code:

$(function() {
var y=$('#userlinks').find('p').replaceWith("Καλώς ήρθατε { USERNAME }");
});

Where it says USERNAME you need to take out the space before and after it.

I'm hope this will work, but it may not, it may not insert the username correctly. If not then i'll take another look.

If it doesn't work and instead of seeing the persons username you see { USERNAME }

then i'll have to write a script for you later and PM it to you since it will require a bit more work.

LGforum, if you're providing support, it's better to post it here than on PM so other members can benefit, since we don't allow support via PM here.
