Solved Email notifications

I have recently set up a small forum and I have a question regarding the default settings for email notifications.

Is there a way of turning off the "always notify me of replies" emails for all my forum users? Can it be done through the Administration panel or must it be done by individual forum members in their Profile>Preferences?
