Problem embedding HTML

I have enabled HTML via my preferences but I still cannot embed and view the HTML. All I can see is the code. Is there a setting I've missed?

yeah you have to set the html for the whole forum now.

Go to

Admin panel>general>messages and emails>configurations

scroll down to allow html and hit save

Yeh did that already. I did a search and saw the instructions you gave to someone else but it still isn't working. I know the HTML script is good because it's the same script I use on another forumotion forum.
