on actieforum (the dutch forummotion) whe have a problem that when you register one a forum.
He say the name is already taken. but when you go to the meberlist. You see there is no one with that name.

al dutch forum have this problem.
even when you the first meber.

is this one more forum en can we solve it?

I think the problem can be in a useless security option:
Administration Panel => General => Forum => Security => Security Administration => Unauthorize subscriptions made with the most commonly used spam usernames. : No.

Do you mean that all Dutch forums are having this issue? Also do you mean the founder of a forum is getting this message?

slg, all forums have that option checked Yes as default (automatically), and... you need to configure that option how do you want.
asilverwolf, you need to be forum founder to see Security options, also advanced mode activated.

we can find no pattern in the one where he says he is in use. At one site acepteert the name and in the another site not

It was a security system on forums which block the registration for certain usernames considered as spams.

It should be fixed now
