You can delete the user from your forum. The content can remain under a guest username as long as its not private information. You need to remove all personal details of the user if he wishes it to be removed.

what is all personal details? i dont really want to delete the username

To be honest, I believe according to current law, the user account must be deleted upon request.

If you don't wish to do that, all you must do is:
Remove the following: Age, Location, Emails, Photo's (that are personally identifiable) any original work of his (Such as graphics) AT HIS REQUEST and username.
Note that you can change the email & username to something completely different.

Once you have done that, you should have no issues.
