Yeah, It must be Canceo because Caihlem works here on a Voluntary basis and Typlo was hired a few months after the creation of Forumotion.

There are far more people who work for forumotion than those names you just threw up though. I thought the owner might be french.

After looking through the history of this thread, I honestly don't think it was Canceo and I know it wasn't Typlo that created it.

Canceo is in charge of Marketing, and Typlo is in charge of... well.... um... being the bridge between the members and the technicians?

Anyway, as Caihlem said, he doesn't know. I would imagine it would be someone from France (or is at least French) who doesn't want to be identified.

The original founder of support forums is the godfather.
He is also the main representative of Forumotion France. I don't know if he is the original founder of the company but he is a key player.

Other key players include the executives and actual staff working for forumotion.

Under that we have the hired administrators of official support forums. Seeing as we have 9 official forums that 9 people.

Typlo, plays the role of main administrator and direct link to France.
Canceo was hired not too long ago , under marketing and customer affairs. He is part of the advertisement campaign and the contests.

The founder is Gizmo.

He actually made all the service from scratch on his own, and handled it that way for about 2-3 years.

When the service became too successful and that he needed some support to pursue its growth, he started hiring some employees (techs, main admins such as me, etc...).
Main admins tasks : Forum support, services translation, services advertisement (in many ways), partnerships negociation, litigations and abuses treatments, forums content monitoring, updates beta testing, bridge between users and company, and so on.

Thanks for that Typlo. One thing though. You provided us with a link to Gizmo's profile on the French Support Forum. In order for us to see this profile, we are required to register on the French Support Forum, and I don't really want to have to be going through the registration process as such just to see a profile.

Perhaps you could take a screenshot and show us that way.

Are forumotion forums phpbb3? As I have seen people saying phpbb3 around this forum but the admin panel isn't phpbb3. I'm confused about this.

Soggy; ForuMotion forums can be either Phpbb2, Phpbb3, PunBB, or an invision board. You can choose any of these themes on your ForuMotion forum, for free.

The Admin Panel is a special designed administration panel that belongs to forumotion, whatever version you choose. ForuMotion is the only forum host that has this admin panel.

Aww, this answers a lot of questions about things.ForuMotion is a sort of "Hybrid" of the three.
I've often wondered why the phpbb3 version was missing a lot of features.
Well at least ForuMotion is still the best and easiest free forum I have found.

All versions are coded in situ (home-made if you prefer)

Hence a lack of certain features in one or another theme format

Why is it that we as administrators don’t have the authority to close for a from those who don’t respect the user conditions .
We as administrators can act immediately.
Is it possible for you to contact the Godfather, to get those rights for the administrators..
It would make our work easier. Some users get annoyed if we cannot help them.
Mostly that’s is due to our lack of rights on the forum.
