(sorry if wrong spot) but i just made a forum, i need a bit of help

Okay. Well thank you for taking your time to help me out in this. But, i just made my forum, and i logged in as "admin" But without thinking, i deleted the first thread. So i have no idea how to use the forum. So here my my questions.

How do i get to the admin panel

How do i put myself in the Admin group? (there isnt one)

How do i add new categories

Hello.

1) At the very bottom of the forum, you will see 'Administration Panel'

2) You are already in the Admin group. It's just hidden. Go to the admin panel, click on 'Users and Groups' go to the side bar on the left and click 'Group Administration', click the Icon in the administrator group, then select 'Closed group' and press save.

3) To add a new category, go to The Administration Panel, click on 'General', click on 'Categories and Forums' in the sidebar to the left, click the image at the top right, and select Category.

When you are in the administration panel make sure you are in the advanced mode to see all tabs and sections.
